In Cobra we cover the 2. ‘Das Riech’ SS-Panzerdivision and the 12.
‘Hitlerjugend’ SS-Panzerdivision for the Germans, and the 2nd and 3rd
Armored Divisions for the Americans. During the Cobra Offensives the 2.
SS-Panzerdivision and 2nd and 3rd Armored Divisions would come to blows
many times as the two sides battled each other in the fields and towns
of France. The 12. SS-Panzerdivision was included so that those of you
fighting battles against the British and Canadians can continue to do
battle around the city of Caen and build upon the theme of the Monty’s
Meatgrinder battle book. It also removes the old way of doing company
force selection and creates a graphical template to help you design
your company. Now, at a glance, you can tell what platoons can be taken
in your force and how many you can take. We retained the removal on the
limit of support choices that a company could have (introduced in
Monty’s Meatgrinder) and then we put them in this new easier to use
company force chart.
